PRINCE EDWARD

Lodged under CDC, the Prince Edward project practices passive solar design.

Using data from a comprehensive site analysis, the design intent was to ensure that both dwellings of this dual occupancy included as much of the northern aspect as possible.

Strategically designed roof openings and voids allow light penetration deep into the lower level living spaces. A sense of openness throughout dominates, yet with cleverly designed zoning allowing the inhabitants to separate areas to manage noise and temperature control.
